Today is the last day of the wrap-up/preview and the list today will consist of 10 books out in 2016 by authors who have published at least one other novel. There were SO many books I could have put on this list, but I managed to narrow it down to 10, and along with the cover and why I want to read the book I've also included the perspective release day. And make sure to check out the giveaways below, they will run through the 7th!
1. Truthwitch by Susan Dennard
I'm actually reading an ARC of this right now. I've been pretty fascinated with YA high-fantasy lately and I really enjoyed Susan's first novel, and the premise of this book sounds SO COOL!
Scheduled to be released January 5, 2016
2. Riders by Veronica Rossi
I'm pretty sure I'll read anything Rossi writes, and despite sounding totally different from her first series it still sounds just as cool. AND even though this book is told entirely through a guy's POV the next book is told through a girl's.
Scheduled to be released February 16, 2016
3. A Gathering of Shadows by V. E. Schwab
The first book in this series, A Darker Shade of Magic, was my last book just last year, and it turned out to be one of my favorites, so I'm really excited to see where Schwab takes this series in the second installment.
Scheduled to be released February 23, 2016
4. Walk the Edge by Katie McGarry
I've read everything that McGarry has written and I've fallen in love with them all, so it should be no surprise that I'm really looking forward to the second book in her new series.
Scheduled to be released March 29, 2016
5. This Savage Song by Victoria Schwab
For those of you who don't know Victoria Schwab is none other than the lovely V. E. Schwab, author of number 3 on this list. I really love her novels and this might actually be my most anticipated read of the year, because it sounds AMAZING. Schwab described this as Sin City + Romeo and Juliet - romance + monsters which is basically everything I never knew I wanted in a novel.
Scheduled to be released June 7, 2016
6. The Geek's Guide to Unrequited Love by Sarvenaz Tash
This is about a geeky guy who is love with his best friend, also a geek, and he comes up with a way to tell her at comic-con. HOW ADORABLE DOES THAT SOUND!?
Scheduled to be released June 14, 2016
7. And I Darken by Kiersten White
Kiersten White is writing a high fantasy with a kick-ass princess. I don't know what more you need to know.
Scheduled to be released June 28, 2016
8. A Torch Against the Night by Sabaa Tahir
Sabba's debut was one of my favorite reads of last year as well, so to say I'm excited to see what happens next in this story is an understatement.
Scheduled to be released August 30, 2016
9. Strange the Dreamerby Laini Taylor
I pretty much fell in love with Laini Taylor after reading Daughter of Smoke and Bone four years ago. I'm not a fan of historical fiction but if Laini is writing it I'll read it, I don't even care what it's about.
Scheduled to be released September 27, 2016
10. Heartless by Marissa Meyer
I so enjoyed Meyer's debut series which means I have high hopes for her second one. I'm excited to see what she comes up with next!
Scheduled to be released November 8, 2016
So there you have it, the 10 novels by authors who have published at least one novel already. There are SO many more books I wish I could include on this list, but let's be honest, that would be a REALLY long post. So instead I'll leave you with these and ask you what 2016 novels you're looking forward to reading?
And don't forget to check out the giveaways below!

So many great novels you have listed! I adored Truthwitch (I hope you enjoyed it as well)! I'm reading A Gathering of Shadows later today, which I'm very excited to finally start. I think, of 2015, my favorites included Renee Ahdieh's The Wrath and the Dawn, and Sabaa Tahir's An Ember in the Ashes. I also really liked Lisa Maxwell's Unhooked, Melissa Landers's Starflight, and Truthwitch, but those are 2016 published novels that I read in 2015. Super good stuff!
